Northfield Bank recently executed a lease agreement to open a new branch location at Vintage City

Northfield Bank recently executed a lease agreement to open a new branch location at Vintage City located at 30 Union St., Elizabeth.

The state-of-the-art Vintage City facility features the Vinty Apartments, Vintage City Offices and Eatery.

The Northfield branch will be located on the corner of Union Street and West Jersey Street, across from Union County College, below Vinty Apartments, and alongside Vintage City Offices.

The Vintage City Offices community consists of the Greater Elizabeth Chamber of Commerce, the Historic Midtown SID and numerous other organizations dedicated to Elizabeth’s current and future success.

“Northfield Bank is excited to partner with Vintage City and bring our locally grown style of banking to the residents and businesses of Elizabeth,” Robin Lefkowitz, executive vice president of Northfield Bank, said. “We look forward to becoming part of the Elizabeth community and being part of its economic growth.”

“We are thrilled to celebrate this milestone, not only for Northfield Bank but the Vintage City community and Elizabeth as a whole. This expansion demonstrates the future of Elizabeth is now,” Sal Garcia, representing Vintage City, said.

The branch is expected to open in the fall of 2023.
